The inner graphic designer loves these Pantone Mugs from Delight.com. And if you have $125 to spare, you can own a set of ten!

Mine don’t look nearly as pretty as The Delicious Life’s. But trust me, they taste delicious. The only thing I did different from the original recipe was that I left out the raisins…because we don’t like those in our family very much.
5/9: Mother’s Day breakfast.
My younger sister and I woke up early to make my mom breakfast before she got home from work. What was on the menu? Goat Cheese Scrambled Eggs with Chives (served with sourdough bread) and Chocolate Chip Walnut Pancakes (served with fresh strawberries and mangoes).
Goat Cheese Scrambled Eggs
Serves 2 (good-sized portions)
I like to crack the eggs directly into the pan (low-heat!) and stir them with a splash of milk. Add small pieces of goat cheese (how much is up to your preferred taste) and keep stirring with a spatula to keep the eggs from sticking to the pan. If the eggs are setting too quickly, you can adjust the heat by moving the pan back and forth. Add salt and pepper. When they’re done, they should be nice and fluffy. Add small pieces of chives and that’s it! They’re delicious with a nice piece of sourdough toast.
Chocolate Chip Walnut Pancakes
We didn’t have enough time, so we went with good ‘ol Bisquick (plus, we have so much pancake batter in the pantry…it needed to be used). We just followed the Bisquick directions and added chocolate chips and walnuts. They tasted wonderful with the fresh fruit!

5/8: Homemade Orange Julius.
A warm spring day in the San Gabriel Valley is perfect weather to make homemade Orange Julius. Originally recipe posted at Notecook. I would use less water and more ice cubes, though.

5/7: Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies.
I was trying to get rid of all this extra food in the pantry, so I ended up making two batches of these to finish the creamy peanut butter. They were wonderful right out of the oven—soft and full of chocolatey, peanut buttery, oatmeal goodness.
Original recipe found at Brown Eyed Baker.
